Meet Magnolia
Hey there,
I’m Magnolia! Only my teachers, people that don’t know me, and my parents when they are REALLY upset at me call me that. My friends call me Noli. I'm just wrapping up my first year at Cascade Prep - yay, no longer the new kid on the block! I met some pretty cool people, but I'm super stoked to get a break from all that school stuff finally.
So, here’s a fun fact about me, I've got this major crush on a guy at school. Yep, you heard right, a boy named Xander! He's totally cool and all, but after a late-night sleepover with my BFFs, I’m starting to question why I spent all freshman year crushing hard on him. Seriously, I've got more butterflies than a butterfly farm even thinking about it. Oh, the drama, right?
Okay, so let me tell you about my favorite place - home. We live on this amazing man-made lake that's part of a golf course. I know, it sounds super fancy, but it’s mostly quiet, so I can enjoy some chill time on the water, wake surfing, or paddleboarding (my absolute faves!). Plus, there's also the golfing. The jury is still out if I am totally in love with golf or just doing it so I don’t have to dance like my sisters.
One of my all-time favorite holidays is in the summer. Every year, our parents' friends visit on the 4th of July, which means Jack is in town! Jack's their son, and he's been a part of our summer tradition since, like, forever.
But life isn't just about crushes and wake surfing. Sometimes, I have to figure out, well, life stuff. You know, growing up, becoming my own person, that sort of thing. In those moments, I have my fail-proof stress-busters: my adorbs younger sisters, who can also be totally annoying, Poppy and Jazzy, and our epic Mario Kart tournaments (I'm pretty awesome at it, not gonna lie). And if things get really tough, there's always my secret weapon - Greek yogurt with Oreos. Yes, you read it right, nothing there is nothing that Greek yogurt and Oreos can't fix.
I can’t wait to share more with you. I am dying to tell you how my summer shapes up. I have a feeling it is going to be full of adventures, unexpected crushes, and (hopefully!) my first kiss!
